Iris was always the beautiful groover as I was growing up,  I remember one day I couldn’t make up my mind whether to buy Elvis Presley’s  45 ‘Stuck on you’, or the UK’s  handsome blond singer Adam Faith’s’ What do you want’.  Iris said with no hesitation get the Elvis...no surprise at the time that she liked Mars bar sandwiches, so very Elvis!!  Since I always liked blonds (and they were rare in the UK in them dark days) I bought both of the records with my paper round money, she already knew all the Elvis lyrics of course before I got it on the turntable.  I don’t think I ever told Iris this, that there was a real Christmas miracle just a few years later when I actually turned into a blond!!  I know you are watching Iris, there are pictures.
